My name is Oliva. I am 15 years old. I am from Singida Region. I am seventh child among 8 children. When I was at home my life was difficult because my father was not able to take care of us. When I was 9 years old he left us. And only my struggling mother was the one who raised us all and provided for our needs. My mother was always sick and cannot do heavy duty. When I was 12 years old my aunt decided to help her so I was transferred so I can finish my primary school in Standard 7.
But when I came in the Sisters of Mary my first impression was the kind of education they are giving. I learn many things not only academically but also I learn skills like, Computer, Tailoring, Baking and Electrical. And I also learn music like playing piano and drums and guitar. But what I like most in the Sisters of Mary is how the Sisters take care of us because they treat us equally. And teach us discipline and training us well.
I would like to be a doctor because I want to help many people of their diseases especially by doing charity work and helping them. After graduation I imagine that I will be somebody in Tanzania in order to alleviate the standard living of the people. And I wanted to help the Sisters of Mary in Tanzania if I will become successful.
The words that I like to address to you my donors. That God will bless you for what you are doing now. Everything of what you are doing is because of love. I pray that God will give you long life in order that you will continue to help many people. I wish that one day I will meet you and to say thank you personally. God Bless you and your family.
