Day in the Life of a Sister of Mary

Across 6 countries, over 400 Sisters of Mary dedicate their lives to caring for more than 20,000 children living in poverty. A day in the life of a Sister of Mary involves providing not only education and shelter but also spiritual guidance, emotional support, and daily encouragement—empowering children to build a better future.

Their days begin before sunrise and are filled with prayer, work, and service. From preparing meals to teaching catechism classes and offering comfort to children under their care, they do every task with love and humility. Through their tireless efforts, the Sisters help children break the cycle of poverty and grow into confident, capable adults.

This is a day in the life of our Sister—a life of joyful sacrifice, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to God and the poor.

Please help the Sisters of Mary and the children in their care.

Your support helps the Sisters of Mary provide essential food, education, shelter, and medical care to thousands of vulnerable children. Every donation makes a real difference in breaking the cycle of poverty and giving these children hope for a brighter future.
