Patrick Rainey is the Founder and former CEO of Encore Construction Company, Inc., a firm specializing in water, water reclamation, and water treatment facilities for municipalities across Florida and the Southeast. Encore Construction was recognized by Engineering News-Record as one of the Top 100 Environmental Firms in the United States for 10 consecutive years.
Now retired, Mr. Rainey continues to serve the Church and the community through several leadership roles. He serves on the Board of the Sisters of Mary World Villages for Children. He is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Ave Maria University (2019–present), after serving as a Trustee and Vice Chairman since 2012. In addition, he is a Steward of The Papal Foundation, Past President of Legatus International’s Orlando Chapter, and previously served as Chairman and President of St. Peter Claver Prison Ministry, Inc. (2017–2023). Mr. Rainey is also a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (KGCHS).
Mr. Rainey earned a BBA from the University of Mississippi (1979). He and his wife, Louise, celebrate 46 years of marriage this year. They have two adult children and six grandchildren.
