Since opening in 1990, the Sisters of Mary Talisay Girlstown Philippines has provided education and full-time care to over 3,300 young girls. These girls come from the poorest communities in the Philippines and are given a real opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through quality education and support.
At Talisay Girlstown, students follow a complete academic curriculum along with training in arts, sports, and practical technical skills. In a safe and nurturing environment, they can enjoy their childhood, build lifelong friendships, and grow in confidence. The girls actively participate in school competitions and challenges, helping them develop leadership and teamwork while making the most of their education.
Vocational Training for a Brighter Future at Talisay Girlstown Philippines
Alongside a full academic curriculum, the girls at Talisay Girlstown in the Philippines receive hands-on vocational training to prepare them for future employment. Their technical education includes computer system servicing, technical drawing, bread and pastry making, tailoring, dressmaking, and bookkeeping—skills that are in high demand across various industries.
