What was your life like before you´ve met the Sisters of Mary? (origin, circumstances, family etc.)

I am blessed with 5 members in my family, my parents and my two siblings. I was helping my parents, as the eldest I need to work hard, looking for firewood, working under the heat of the sun. My parents don’t gain much money that I did not continue my studies for a year aside from the virus. My previous classmates received classes through video calls but in my case, through poverty we don’t have any cellphone and at the same the signal in my place is not good.

Which expectations/ impression did you have when you came to the school of the Sisters of Mary on the first day?

I was so excited seeing the big place, specially the buildings where we are to live and study, the courts of basketball and soccer fields.

What do/ did you like most about the Sisters of Mary?

I like on how we receive classes that I can’t compare it to my previous school. Also, I like the food that we eat each day.

Which profession would you like to pursue one day?

I wanted to be a lawyer in order to help street children, to give them food and shelter.

How do you imagine your life after graduating from school of the Sisters of Mary?

I can imagine myself as a graduate from a very beautiful and incomparable school, as a person with dignity and values. I imagine my mother seeing his son doing good work…

What words would you like to address to the donors today?

I thank you so much for everything your doing for us with out any change or reward. May God continue blessing you each day in your life as you are giving us in our daily studies at the Sisters of Mary.
