Last week, girls from the Sisters of Mary schools in Biga and Talisay won the St. Paul National Bible Quiz championship in their respective regions! Both teams competed in the grand championship yesterday. Out of the 12 teams that qualified for the championship round, the team from the Girlstown in Biga came in second place and the team from the Girlstown in Talisay placed third. This national bible trivia competition in the Philippines was begun by the Society of St. Paul Phil-Macau Province to encourage students to study the bible and provide them the opportunity for fellowship with children from other schools. This is the ninth year that this national bible quiz took place. Our students are grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this year’s event!
