Meet Kenneth

Philippines

Minglanilla

I was often absent in our class and couldn’t study well because of a lack of food. Sometimes we only ate twice a day. Also, I had to walk one kilometer to reach our school. My father died when I was three (3) years old. My mother is taking care of our small cornfield. I had a stepfather but they separated later. I have five (5) siblings. After the death of our father, we were distributed to our relatives. This situation affected my studies. I became repeater during my elementary days. To help my family, I cut pieces of wood and sold them.

I am looking forward to finishing my studies with the help of the Sisters of Mary School. With the high-quality education that this school offers, I believe I could learn more in terms of academics, skills and most especially in spiritual aspects. I became more confident in my academic and non-academic skills since everything is provided as well as develop my sense of responsibility. I came to Sisters of Mary because I want to achieve my ambition in life and to become a successful person someday. I want to help my family by not being a burden to them especially to my mother. I am also motivated by one of the graduates in this institution.

I want to become a computer engineer. I also dream to build our own house and help my mother. I want to work and save money for my studies in college. I will also live on the teachings and values that I learned and will share them with others.
