A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Tom Sullivan earned his Doctor of Law from Catholic University of America in 1967. After service in the U.S. Army, he led a distinguished career in the environmental law field. In 1973, he founded Government Institutes and served as President and Chairman of the Board until his retirement in 1998.
Since his retirement, Mr. Sullivan has devoted his time to Catholic charitable and educational works as Chairman of the Tom and Glory Sullivan Foundation. In addition to his enduring support of World Villages for Children, he is a member of Legatus and the Papal Foundation, and is co-founder of the Amazon Children’s Fund. He is dedicated to bringing both experience and passion to his position as Board Member of World Villages for Children.
Mr. Sullivan enjoys spending time with his wife of over 50 years, Glory Sullivan, and their three children and seven grandchildren.
